  A TEENAGE girl and her mum were killed when a rotting tree uprooted and crushed their car. Elaine Reason, 56, and daughter Grace, 16, from Winchcombe, died when the mature beech tree fell on their Land Rover Freelander nearly three years ago. 4 The mum and daughter were killed as they travelled on the B4077 at Stanway Hill Credit: PA:Press Association 4 Elaine Reason, from Winchcombe, died when the mature beech tree fell Credit: Facebook 4 Grace, pictured with her sister (right) and her mum died in November 2019 The roots of the tree were decaying and the heatwave of 2018 exacerbated the deterioration, Gloucestershire Coroner's Court heard. The tragedy happened at 10:15pm on November 21 2019 at Stanway Hill, near Winchcombe, in the Cotswolds. Mrs Reason was driving on the B4077 with her daughter as a front seat passenger when the tree uprooted and crushed the car in medium wind.   BRITS have been warned to brace for more holiday hell after British Airways workers at Heathrow voted to strike this summer. A whopping 95 per cent of those polled today were in favour of taking action, with workers set to down tools as early as July 8. Around 700 members of staff are now expected to walk out, joining strikers working for  Ryanair  and  easyJet. It comes as GMB seeks to reverse a 10 per cent pay cut on workers imposed during the pandemic.
